Two volunteers each session to work a two-hour shift during Scheels Fish Fest. This is a 'free' event. You may volunteer for more than one shift.
All youth education classes are free and open to the general public. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and conclude prior to the membership meeting at 7:00 p.m.

F-M Walleyes Unlimited Inc. is teaming-up with River Keepers, Environmental Conservation Organization in Fargo, to assist with this annual youth activity. Kids of all ages are invited to learn about casting, knot tying and fish identification. Participants may also compete to reel in a big one with a fishing derby to follow! We only need your person, not equipment required. Kids are encouraged to bring their parent and a fishing pole, but some fishing supplies will be available.
Annual F-M Walleyes tribute to our service veterans event welcomes your help. Spend a few important hours sharing your boat or pontoon and equipment with a veteran. You won't regard participating!
Held during this week each year, Tuesday is “Fishing Day”, sponsored by Cormorant LIONS Club, an event they have provide since the camp's existence. They provide rods, tackle, bait, and transportation on the lake. FM Walleyes Unlimited Inc. members volunteer to provide a quality experience with your help. We are in need of boat captains. Festivities kick-off Friday evening with a family picnic and a rules meeting. Saturday’s tournament begins with boat inspection and valet trailer parking when launching your boat. At the end of the fishing day, teams are escorted to the weigh-in where each team is interviewed live and on-stage about the events of the day. Volunteers are needed for set-up and each segment of the event, as well as tear-down. All registration for competitors as well as volunteers are handled through the event directors. Be an ambassador for FMWU and help youth learn about the sport of fishing. We need twelve (12) volunteers. This is a free event. You will help conduct educational stations and assist kids with river fishing. A license is NOT required for youth 15 and under.

Following the established Angler Young Angler format, the event hosts a maximum of 40 teams comprised of one adult and two young anglers, 17 years of age or younger, to compete in a one-day walleye tournament on Little Pine Lake near Perham, MN. Your help is appreciated in all aspects of conducting this event.

FM Walleyes Unlimited, Inc. is conducting a Youth Fishing Clinic at West Fest on Saturday September 16 in West Fargo. We need a minimum of 8 volunteers to help with the various activities. Volunteers need to be on-site from 1 until 5 p.m. where you will be using the FM Walleyes Events Trailer and the Raffle Boat during the clinic. With Dave's coordination you will be repeating one mini-session to groups of kids about one of these topics: aquatic invasive species (AIS), boat safety, fish identification, fish handling, knot tying, and 'clean, drain, and dry'. Location and parking details will be forwarded to registrants.
